Hello and Welcome to HoorawPhotography
My name is Jacob Gibson and I am addicted to aviation……. I am 24 years old and currently living in Boise, Idaho. I am a junior at Utah Valley State College (a global online degree program) working on my B.S. in Aeronautics.I currently hold a private pilot license and Instrument rating. I wish to become a professional pilot with the goal of being awarded a pilot slot with either an Air National Guard unit or Air Force Reserve Command Unit.

My passion for aviation came from growing up near the Boise Airport also known as Gowen Field. Gowen Field ANGB is home to the 124th FW, an A/OA-10 (190th FS) and C-130H (189th AS) base that is very active. I currently live less than a mile away from Gowen Field, where I can catch the excitement of the day’s launch and recoveries from the comfort of my office, or a quick drive to the perimeter fence for a great view.

As I travel across the country going to Air Shows, open houses, and base visits, my objective is to capture the dedication of the Men and Women who make up the United States Armed Forces and her Allies, and show to the world their professionalism, pride, and commitment to freedom and protection of Human Rights.

My current equipment includes the Canon 30D and 20D bodies, the Canon 90-300mm/4.5-5.6 EF Lens, the Canon 18-55mm/3.5-5.6 EF Lens & the Canon 400mm f/5.6 USM EF Lens. As the years come and go, I hope that I can continue to nurture and develop my talents as a photographer. I look forward to meeting and doing business with you.
